Pressure Die Casting Process
We have an excellent technical team, which can be designed according to customers requirements.
1. Requirement Co-design
DFM Drives Zero-Defect Starting Point Engineers provide die-casting-specific DFM solutions through 1v1 3D drawing analysis: Optimize draft angles/wall thickness/ribs —— Reduce shrinkage risk by 30% Intelligent simulation of metal flow —— Predict porosity location, extend mold life by 50%
2. Intelligent Die-Casting Programming
Dynamic Parameters for Precise Form Control Cloud-based die-casting platform calculates optimal process chain in real-time: Three-stage injection control: Slow-speed 0.3m/s degassing → High-speed 6m/s filling → Intensification 100MPa feeding Precise mold temperature zoning ±5℃ —— Eliminate flow marks/cold shuts
3. Ultra-Clean Preprocessing
Dual Safeguards for Quality Assurance Alloy melt purification: Argon degassing + density testing —— Hydrogen content ≤0.1ml/100g Intelligent mold maintenance: Automated nano-coating spray → Laser-calibrated mold temperature → Mold clamping gap <0.03mm
4. High-Pressure Precision Forming
10,000-Tonne Integrated Die-Casting Fully automated die-casting island execution: 1200℃ molten metal injected in 3s → 1200T clamping force maintains form → Water-cooling system rapid cooling Micron-level precision control: Thin-walled parts ±0.15mm tolerance | Surface Ra1.6μm no grinding required
The selection of materials directly affects the performance, durability and application fields of die castings. We offer a full range of alloy options, precisely meeting different strength, accuracy and production requirements! Here are the typical materials commonly used in die casting services:
Aluminum Alloy (ADC12/A380)
Possesses excellent casting fluidity, good mechanical strength and corrosion resistance with low density. Suitable for automotive components (engine brackets, housings), electronic enclosures, power tool parts and high-volume production.
Zinc Alloy (Zamak 3/Zamak 5)
Excellent casting fluidity and filling capability for thin-walled complex shapes, good surface finish ideal for plating/painting. Higher strength (Zamak 5>Zamak 3) but limited high-temperature performance. Commonly used for locks, bathroom hardware, connectors and automotive trim.
Magnesium Alloy (AZ91D/AM60B)
The lightest structural metal with high strength-to-weight ratio, good damping and EMI shielding. Requires protective atmosphere during processing. Essential for automotive lightweight frames, 3C product housings and aerospace components.
Copper Alloy (Brass CZ132/Silicon Brass)
Superior electrical/thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance (especially seawater) with golden appearance. High melting point causes severe thermal shock to dies. Ideal for plumbing fittings, wear-resistant gears and electrical connectors.
High-Strength Aluminum (A383/ADC10)
Maintains good fluidity while offering higher strength and hardness at elevated temperatures. Critical for powertrain components (transmission housings, oil pumps) and high-load structural parts.
Introduction to Surface Treatment of Pressure Die Casting Parts
We provide essential surface treatments specifically engineered for die cast parts, balancing functionality, aesthetics and cost-effectiveness for high-volume production.
Electrochemical process for aluminum alloys. Enhances corrosion/wear resistance with color options. Thickness: 10-25μm. Standard for automotive and consumer electronics.
Projects fine abrasives to create uniform matte surfaces. Removes die lines and porosity marks. Essential for medical and industrial housings.
CLIENTS TESTIMONIALS
What Our Customers Say?
Dongguan Hongxia's delivery efficiency is amazing! It took only 12 days from drawing confirmation to the delivery of 500 sets of precision shaft parts, and 100% passed the German TÜV test, and the quality far exceeded the industry standard.
Their technical team provides a disruptive solution! By optimizing the transmission structure, the equipment accuracy is improved by 40%, and the whole process is debugged on site, and the technical support is an industry benchmark.
US Customer: Automation equipment upgrade cooperation
After comparing 8 suppliers, Hongxia won with the ultimate cost-effectiveness of SUS304 stainless steel! 200,000 bracket orders with zero returns, the price is 25% lower than that of local manufacturers, but the quality is more stable.
Southeast Asian Customer: Bulk purchase of hardware products
NO! – No minimum quantity! We provides rapid prototypes and short to medium-run production machining services.
What general tolerances can you achieve?
General CNC Machining Tolerances on metal to +/- 0.005" (+/- 0.127 mm) following ISO 2768 unless otherwise specified. CNC Plastics and composites will be +/- 0.010”(+/- 0.254 mm).
What type of design files do you accept for quoting?
For the 3D drawing, we would prefer STEP, IGES, or X_T format. For the 2D drawing, we would prefer PDF format there are tolerances with the dimensions if possible.
What shall we do if we don't have drawings?
Please send your sample to our factory, then we can copy and provide you better solutions. lf send us pictures or drafts with dimensions(Length,Height, Width), CAD or 3D file will be made for you.
What precision tolerances can you achieve?
CNC Precision Machining Tolerances down to ±.0002" (0.005mm).We can manufacture and inspect to tight tolerances per your drawing specifications
Will my drawings be safe after sending them to you?
We will keep them well and won't release them to the third party without your permission.
